Hip Hop Live: Week Ending 6/13

Welcome to the first installment of Hip Hop Live, where we will be letting you, the fans, know where and when the hottest Hip Hop artists will be performing, as well as HipHopDXs most anticipated show!

It seems as though today (June 6) is a packed day for Hip Hop, as many of your favorite artists are hitting the stage. Despite his legal troubles, T.I. will be performing tonight at 6:00 PM at Washington, D.C.s Love nightclub. Also performing tonight is Raekwon, at San Diegos 4^th and B, at 6:00 PM.

The Roots will be taking their home town of Philadelphia, PA by storm, as they perform tonight at 11:00 PM at the Theatre of Living Arts, and tomorrow (June 7) at the Festival Pier. Tomorrows show will start at 2:00 PM, and will also feature Gnarls Barkely, Sharon Jones, Deerhoof, Santogold and Diplo.

Freeway will be hitting up Cardos in Chillicothe, OH tomorrow at 8:00 PM, while Lil Wayne performs at the Arena At Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, CT at the same time. Lil Wayne will certainly be having a busy weekend, as the release party for his upcoming album Tha Carter III will take place on Sunday (June 8) at 8:00 PM at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ. Also attending the event will be Birdman. Another release party for the album will be on Tuesday (June 10) at 7:00 at Sonar in Baltimore, MD.

Kanye Wests Glow in the Dark Tour is the talk of Hip Hop fans everywhere, and will be hitting two locations this week the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday (June 7) at 7:30 PM, and the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, AZ on Sunday (June 8) at 7:00PM.The shows feature Rihanna, Lupe Fiasco and N.E.R.D. Next Friday (June 13), Decon & 2K Sports present Dilated Peoples, Aceyalone and The Alchemist at The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza in New York, NY. The show starts at 9:00 PM.

And finally, HipHopDXs most anticipated show is

GZA performing his seminal classic album, Liquid Swords! The Wu-Tang legend will be performing the album in its entirety at The Fillmore New York at Irvint Plaza in New York, NY on Friday, September 12. So why are we telling you now?
