East coast emcee Immortal Technique is known as
much for his activism as his lyricism. Now, in addition to promoting
good will through his lyrics and his time, the Viper Records Executive
Vice President is now putting his money where is mouth is—literally.

This week, Technique announced the “3rd World” writing contest, created to assist students in grades nine through 12 with the growing cost of obtaining an education.

Seniors graduating this year are also eligible to participate.
