After various sources, including HipHopDX [click to read…], reported 50 Cent was in talks to sign an all-inclusive deal with Rupert Murdoch‘s News Corporation, an anonymous G-Unit rep has denied the claims.

“If this was true, we’d know first,” the source, who was only identified as “someone who works closely to [50 Cent,]” told Vibe.com. The source also explained the appearance of the story, which initially surfaced on Mediatakeout.com [click to read…], and later was posted on ThisIs50.com saying, “We don’t discriminate against news.”

The deal was reported to be worth $300 million over 10 years. In exchange for a private studio and stock options in News Corp., the rumored deal called for G-Unit Records to be moved under a subsidiary of MySpace Records and for all of 50‘s concert touring to be marketed under News Corp. as well.

Currently, 50 remains under his deal with Aftermath/Shady/Interscope. But he has publicly stated on numerous occasions that his forthcoming solo album, Before I Self Destruct, will be his last album of new material under the Interscope umbrella.
