According to The New York Post, rapper Queen Pen was assaulted by her boyfriend inside her Flatbush, Brooklyn apartment. The incident dates back three months ago to when Pen filed a police report, stating that blows to the face had forced her to get oral surgery.

In addition to bodily harm, the report says that the boyfriend, named Kendall Wicker, broke the 35 year-old rapper's Grammy Award as well as put a brick through her car windshield. He has not yet been apprehended.

Pen, who was discovered by producer Teddy Riley, is a Brooklyn native best remembered for her featured role alongside him on Blackstreet's "No Diggity," also featuring Dr. Dre. She had recording contracts with both Interscope and Universal Records before veering into authorship. Her song "Girlfriend" remains one best examples of Hip Hop's tolerance or support of homosexuality.
