Ciara's Third Album Has Some Goodies
The first disc, Groove City, will provide slower songs with intimacy in mind. On Crunktown, Ciara has expressed the vibe as more club-conscious to the former. On the last disc, entitled Kingdom Of Dance, she will feature up-tempo records that give her more creative freedom. All together, the album itself will be between 15-18 tracks long.
Along with her albums tentative fall release, Ciara will also be making her theater debut in the off-Broadway now-turned movie Mama I Want To Sing! Co-starring alongside Lynn Whitfield and Patti LaBelle, Ciara plays the character Amara Winter, a young aspiring singer who finds herself split between the gospel of her family and the success of mainstream celeb-life. The movie hits theaters October 10th through 20th Century Fox.
Fantasy Ride is looking at a September release on Jive Records.
