Presently, RZA is readying the release of Digi Snacks, his third album in the Bobby Digital series, geared up for July 1st release [click to read]. In preparation for the Koch Records release, RZA shot a video for the album’s first single, “U Can’t Stop Me Now.”

The song, which features Inspectah Deck, is inspired by Afrika Bambaataa‘s “Renegades of Funk,” using familiar a sample and chorus that’s been interpolated by artists ranging from Ill Bill to Mos Def. The lyrics to the song chronicle the sacrifices made for RZA‘s dream, including buying his first SP-12 sampler for $500, prompting the producer’s illustrious career.

Another video was shot for “Drama,” the single’s B-side, featuring Monk.

In related news, fellow Wu-Tang Clan founding member GZA was recently followed by Pitchfork with his emcee son Justice on camera for the site’s “Daytripping” series. Of his son, GZA said, “He was an emcee before he could even speak,” referring to Justice serving as Wu-Tang‘s hype-man on tours as a child. The father and son duo trade each other’s verses as points of inspiration. See below.

Justice has a confirmed appearance on Raekwon‘s highly-anticipated Only Built 4 Cuban Link II album, planned for an August or September release. Justice also appeared alongside Ol’ Dirty Bastard‘s son Young Dirty on “Young Godz” from Brand Nubian member Lord Jamar‘s The 5% Album, released in 2006.
