Just because T.I. is spending his days doing community service doesn't mean that his days of having beef are over. Rumors have been surfacing since late last year that bad vibes are brewing between the self-proclaimed 'king' and Shawty Lo, but now things are starting to come to a boil. T.I. has finally begun to go on wax about his feelings towards Lo on his new track "No Matter What" [click to listen] which dropped earlier this week:

"They couldn't wait to say goodnight shorty/ So they can try to rhyme, act and look like shorty/ Go get a beat from Toomp, and make a hook like shorty/ Before ya know it I'm back; what it look like shorty/...So I huff and puff rhymes, lyrics so sick wit it/ Set the standards in Atlanta to get get get it/ So you up and coming rappers wanna diss, just kill it/ I'm officially the realest, point blank, period"

The phrase "Get Get Get it" is one of Shawty Lo's frequently used sayings off of the single "Dey Know." DJ Toomp has worked with T.I. on almost every album and produced the chart topping single "What You Know" off of T.I.'s King album. Toomp also has production on Shawty Lo's album Units In The City.

Could this be the beginning of yet another case of Hip Hop hostility? Although the jab seems fairly blatant as to who it's directed towards; we will have to wait and see if it will garner a response from Shawty Lo. DX will keep you posted as the story continues.
