Breaking: Police Cleared In Sean Bell Shooting

New York City police officers accused of killing Sean Bell hours before his wedding in a hail of 50 bullets were acquitted on all charges.
 
According to the Associated Press, shouts of “No!” and “Not guilty!” erupted in the courtroom as the verdicts were read for Michael Oliver, Gescard Isnora and Marc Cooper.
 
Bell’s parents and fiancé joined a packed Queens courthouse for the verdict.
 
Sean Bell was killed Nov. 25, 2006 outside of a strip club where he was celebrating his bachelor party after officers suspected someone in his party had a gun [click to read].
