In the vein of other indie powerhouses like Stones Throw, Decon has launched a national tour to showcase its roster.

The 19-date tour, entitled Fresh Rhymes and Videotape, will feature performances by Dilated Peoples, Alchemist, Aceyalone and 88-Keys. [To read HipHopDX’s Producer’s Corner interview with 88-Keys, click here.]

The acts will record six new collaboration tracks on the road. Decon’s Jason Goldwatch, who produced the Dilated’sThe Release Party DVD along with the label’s upcoming A Billion Bucks DVD with Young Buck, will record the tour and produce a short film. The music and the film will be released together, along with a music video of one of the six new tracks.
