Though the divorce between Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston was legally emancipated nearly a year ago, gossip and rumors amid their fourteen-year marriage continues to seep through the cracks (no pun intended).

The most recent of dirty little secrets come in the form of Bobby Browns new autobiography The Truth, The Whole Truth, And Nothing But, co-written with Derrick Handspike. Though it is set for release next month, some details of the book have surfaced in the New York Post. In these excerpts, Bobby paints a questionable picture between him and his ex-wife concerning the issues of drugs and marriage.

Sounding like the victim in the story of their marriage, Bobby states I never used cocaine until I met Whitney. I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice.

He went on to say, I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married . . . I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children. Because of this, their marriage was doomed from the beginning, as Bobby puts it.

Shocked but considerate about the situation, Whitney Houston responded through her rep on the allegations that Brown has proposed; Miss Houston is sad that Bobby feels he need to say such things but she chooses to take the high road and will not speak badly about the father of her child even if it's to set the record straight.

It seems as if Whitney is avoiding the issue rather than choosing to take the high road. Could this mean the allegations are true? Well find out more once the book hits stores.
