According to People Magazine, superstar songstress Beyonce Knowles and longtime clandestine boyfriend Jay-Z have taken out a marriage license in Scarsdale, N.Y. A source reportedly told the magazine that the pair obtained a license this morning (Tuesday, April 1). The document is valid for 60 days.
Beyonc, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, have been dating since 2002, though the couple have stood reluctant to discuss their relationship publicly. Rumors about their romance began circulating after the singer appeared on Jay-Z's song "'03 Bonnie & Clyde," followed by collaborations on Beyonc's solo hit "Crazy in Love," in 2003.
Since then rumors have surfaced multiple times about a possible marriage, especially after the two were spotted with matching "IV" tattoos on thier ring fingers after a trip to Paris just a few months ago. Could this all be part of an April Fool's joke for the paparazzi?
