During his court-allowed several hours leave from house arrest, T.I. attended the New Birth Missionary, Church Easter Sunday Service.
"We're here to celebrate the death of our Lord and Savior," said T.I. to the congregation, according to MTV News. "He was willing to give his life for us so that we may ask for forgiveness for our sins and be forgiven and saved. ... No matter how many times we have to ask ... or how long it takes to get it right." The rapper also spoke about HIV and AIDS awareness, as that has been the church's theme for 2008.
T.I. was accompanied by his mother, his six children, and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, who is pregnant with a boy (the couple's second child). He arrived at the church service in a tour bus.
In related news, DJ Drama said that T.I. is in talks to appear on the next G-Unit mixtape, which will be a part of the Gangsta Girllz series. Also, a single for T.I's upcoming album Paper Trail is to come in the upcoming weeks.
