Redman and Method Man's Blackout 2 Still Coming

With poor record sales holding most artists and labels from releasing new albums on a timely basis, Redman promises a handful of new releases from himself this 2008, including the much-anticipated Blackout 2.

The highly respected and overly animated New Jersey rapper has firmly announced his upcoming projects.

Me and Meth are coming out with Blackout 2 this summer. Muddy Waters 2 in the winter—or the beginning of ’09. Gilla House's album—we signing to Koch,Redman told Sitdownandstandup.com.

He also expressed his diligent work ethic and the amount of time placed in the studio. “I’m a studio bunny. I stay in the studio at least 15 hours a day,Redman confessed.

While keeping the details scarce in regards to the Blackout 2 album, he did admit to wanting the legendary DJ Premier on their album. “I want him to get on something for Red and Meth. Premo, we need some heat, baby. We need some heat right now, man!Redman exclaimed.

Although the album was initially said to be releasing on the same Def Jam imprint as the original, Redman made no mention of who would be releasing the album.
