Atlanta based rapper T.I. will be trying his hand at a new challenge as an executive producer of a reality show focused on the daily life of Los Angeles artist Mars.
The show, tentatively titled ‘Life On Mars’, will center on the 22-year-old’s music industry grind as he finds himself pressured with his active role in his father’s church while continuing to create beats for artists and his own group, 1500 or Nothing.
Focusing on his background while capturing Mars’ daily habits is expected to draw audiences closer in to the West Coast artist’s life.
At the age of 17, Mars (born Lamar Edwards) fell out of touch with his father, resulting in him getting kicked out of the house. This outcome came from his pursuit for a life completely embraced in music, rather than the church-driven one suggested by his father.
Since his entrance in to the world of music, Mars has worked with big named artists including Jay-Z, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg and T.I.
The show is currently rumored to be being discussed among several major networks and has already received rave reviews.
