Lil Wayne Signs Jae Millz To
Young Money
Less than three months after longtime artist Currency left Lil Wayne's fledging imprint under Cash Money Records, another artist already revered for his patience has signed. Jae Millz, an emcee from Harlem who was previously signed to Warner Brothers, Universal/SRC, and has been independent the last two years, has been reported as the newest artist to the team. The two appeared together at a recent Wayne concert with Birdman in Newark, New Jersey.
The artist might be most memorable to some for his appearance on Making The Band Season One, where he battled E.Ness head-to-head, in what helped ensure Ness' spot on the Bad Boy Records roster.
Young Money, which began getting promotion in 2005, has yet to release a project outside of Lil Wayne.
