Big Pooh & Young RJ Recording Full Length
A press release circulating online says that the Detroit producer and North Carolina emceewho have found previous success through their respective groups, BR Gunna and Little Brotherconnected through Scrap Dirty, who is RJs manager and a Violator DJ.
While Pooh earned critical praise with his solo debut Sleepers in 2005, RJ has yet to release an entire project that hes produced. He has, however, landed beats on albums from the likes of Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Phat Kat and Kurupt. A snippet of Money, the first single from the as-of-yet untitled album, is making its way through internet message boards as well. The track features Frank, from Detroit emcee duo Frank-N-Dank.
As stated earlier, the twos groupmates have found success in their collaborative LPs as well. Black Milk, Young RJs production partner in BR Gunna, has reteamed with the groups third member Fat Ray for the upcoming album The Set Up, and collaborated with California rapper Bishop Lamont for last years Caltroit LP. Phonte, the other half of Little Brother, is working on his second album with producer Nicolay as the group Foreign Exchange.
