Twista Launches Label, Readies First Release
Chicago emcee Twista launched a record label recently called Get Money Gang.
The record label's first release will be a project from the Speedknot Mobstaz. The duo is made up of Liffy Stokes and Mayz. The groups has appeared on many of Twista's albums, and have gone on tour with him.
The Speedknot Mobstaz released their debut, Mostability in 1998. Ten years later, the follow-up Mostability II: Nation Bizness features Twista and Jim Jones. Chi-town producer Cuzzo and China White Productions will be handling the production on the album. The album is the streets just like the first one was, said Mayz. We dont have to create a fake image; we just have to let our soul speak to the people.
The album is set to be distributed by Koch Records.
