Early this morning, December 21, rapper Pitbull was arrested in Dade County for charges of DUI or drunk driving. The 26 year-old, who exactly a month ago released The Boat Lift on TVT Records, was reportedly doing 93 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone in his Mercedes Benz.
As of this morning, Pitbull is being held at the County of Dade-Miami Pretrial Detention Center on $1,000 bond. At the time of arrest, the rapper was smelling of alcohol despite chewing gum.
In an unrelated incident in Miami, Epic Records rapper Yung Berg was arrested for marijuana possession. He is being held at Dade County Correction Center, awaiting release. The writer behind the hit single "Sexy Lady," was apprehended at the "Sexy Can I" video from friend and singer Ray J.
Yung Berg is presently working on his sophomore album Look What You Made Me.
