Sha Money XL And Cashville Records Say Four 2008 Releases
"2008 is gonna be great. This Red deal is in place, so were gonna be dropping records each quarter," said the Queens native producer and manager. The first release will be a label compilation featuring Young Buck, his new act 615, C-Bo and The Outlawz. Although Sha would not yet confirm a full album from 2Pac's onetime proteges, he did speak on their involvement and behalf. "Theyre gonna be on the compilation. Those guys are OGs in the game; they deserve a just due. The Outlawz have been shaded because of all the things that happened with Pac and then Suge [Knight] never released them from their contract for a few years till after, when they died down a little bit. The Outlawz never really shot their load off. They did a lot of indies, which was cool, but I dont think they were marketed well. Those are descendants of Pac thats like, youre still working with The Wailers. You aint get Bob Marley, but you still get The Wailers."
2008 will also see another annual One Stop Producers Conference hosted by Sha Money XL March 8 and 9 in Phoenix, Arizona. Thus far, Swizz Beatz is a confirmed co-host, with over 600 producers expected to attend. Tickets and information can be found here.
