Dame Dash Owes Over $2 Million in Taxes
Though he may be worth an estimated $50 million, Damon Dash has neglected to pay his taxes, according to the New York Post.
Dash reportedly owes the state of New York $2 million. Among his possessions are a $400,000 Maybach sedan with a chauffeur, diamond-encrusted watches and over 1,000 pairs of sneakers.
This may be related to the issues Dame had with his accountant Barry Klarberg, whom he filed suit against last April. The suit called for $3.5 million due to claims that Klarberg filed years worth of erroneous tax returns on Dash's behalf.
Most recently Dame hosted a Jim Jones mixtape titled Harlem's American Gangster, which served as a dis toward Jay-Z's most recent album American Gangster.
