Singer Trey Songz was arrested in Springfield, MA yesterday (Nov 4) with several members of his crew after a shooting.

The singer was charged with “behaving as a disorderly person” and resisting arrest. He was subsequently released after posting $500 bond.

The shooting occurred in the parking lot of the Hippodrome, where Trey Songz performed Saturday evening. Shots were fired behind the venue, where Lt. John Slepchuck of the Springfield Police Dept. explained the commotion.

“Our disorderly person charge can involve several different things
including the use of certain language, failure to do what an officer
asks,”
said Slepchuck, according to AHH. “[Neverson] was interfering with
an active crime scene involving a victim.

The alleged shooter, a 29-year-old man named Anthony Williams is in police custody, facing (among other charges) assault with intent to murder and possession of a firearm without a license.

Williams’ victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. No connection has been made tying either man to Songz.

On October 11, a similar incident occurred in the Opera Nightclub in Atlanta, where the singer’s performance was interrupted in gunfire.
