Jay-Z to Embark on 'American Gangster Live' Tour

Jay-Z has announced the "American Gangster Live" tour, a five-date tour to support his upcoming album, American Gangster.

Hov will go on tour in November to five mid-sized locations in Los Angeles, Chicago, Baltimore, New York and Philadelphia; he will perform songs from his upcoming album American Gangster, set to be released four day s after the movie of the same name.

The tour will begin at Los Angeles' famous House of Blues on November 6, which is the same day American Gangster (the album) drops.

American Gangster the movie is based on the real life story of Harlem drug lord Frank Lucas, played by Denzel Washington. Alongside Washington starring are Russell Crowe, Cuba Gooding Jr., Common, RZA and T.I.

11/6 Los Angeles: House of Blues
11/7 Chicago: House of Blues
11/9 Baltimore: Ramshead
11/11 New York: Hammerstein
11/12 Philadelphia: Fillmore
