New G-Unit Album This Winter

It is hard to keep track of all the claims that 50 Cent makes, I'm sure everyone remembers him saying he would retire if Kanye outsold him in the first week. But does anyone else remember him saying that there would never be another G-Unit album? It looks as if he wasn't serious about that either.

December 18th marks the release of the second G-Unit album, Shoot To Kill. The LP should differ a great deal from their 2003 debut Beg For Mercy. At the time, Tony Yayo was locked up and the album was just 50, Lloyd Banks and Young Buck. Now there is a much bigger cast with Yayo, Mobb Deep and Spider Loc added to the mix (is M.O.P. even on G-Unit anymore?).

The other big difference comes with 50 Cent, as 2003 was the year of 50 and '07 has seen the Queens emcee fail to go platinum in nearly 6 weeks. Does 50 still have the star power to push this to double platinum as he did Beg For Mercy? Time will tell, for now, the first song has leaked; Wanna Lick (Magic Stick Pt.2) f.
