With 50 Cent/Kanye West week officially a month behind us, it seemed as if 50 Cent had refrained from saying much in the media. But in a recent interview with King Magazine, 50 goes hard at the self proclaimed “Greatest Rapper Alive” – Lil Wayne.

Obviously, with the interview happening prior to 9/11, much of the 50 Cent Vs Lil Wayne talk had just really become underway. The interviewer asks 50 about his diss record toward Weezy titled “Part Time Lover” and 50 Cent lowers the boom on his competitor.

“I’ve already baited Lil’ Wayne to come on out so I can break his little neck,”50 says. “My consistency will break his neck the same way LL’s consistency broke Canibus’.”

“Lil Wayne is a talented rapper but not a great songwriter,” he continues. “He has had great verses on other people’s projects, but they were not his complete ideas over production that he picked. He’s not marrying the right production and lyrics to make classic records.”

Lil Wayne has recently responded with the track “Gossip” which he performed at the BET Hip Hop Awards(Click Here to check out the video of his performance). But as of press time for King, Wayne had yet to respond to “Part Time Lover”. When asked why 50 was attacking Weezy without any reason, 50 replied, “Why not break his neck?”

“I got nothing else to do,” he exclaims. “If they set you up to believe you are in a situation you’re not actually in yet, then you go out there…See, he’s saying what he’s sayin to Jay because Jay didn’t respond to him. I’m giving him something to work off of.”
