Hip Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is finally taking legal responsibility for his sixth child.
Diddy recently told the NY Daily News that he’s “committed to being a good father” to his estranged 15-month-old daughter, Chance, who is rumored to be a large factor in Diddy‘s split with on-again-off again girlfriend (and mother to 3 of his other children) Kim Porter.
Over the past year, Combs‘ reps repeatedly denied that he’d fathered a child with Atlanta native Sarah Chapman. Combs now claims he just didn’t want to go public with the knowledge until DNA tests had been completed.

“At first, I wasn’t sure if this was my child,” he said. “Now that it has become clear she is, I will take care of her for the rest of her life.” Combs has reportedly already worked out visitation and financial support terms.
Combs, 37, and Porter, 36, welcomed twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila Star last December. They also have a son, Christian, 8. Combs has a 13-year-old son, Justin, with ex-girlfriend Misa Hylton-Brim. He’s also been a father to Porter‘s son from a prior relationship, Quincy.
