According to TheNewsStar.com, Mychal Bell – who was found guilty of aggravated second-degree battery earlier this summer – has been overturned. His attorney has confirmed this to be factual. “We are ecstatic,” Bob Noel said.
The decision to overturn Bell’s motion doesn’t mean that he’ll be automatically released. The case has now been moved into LaSalle Parish District Attorney Reed Walters’ court. Bell was one of the six teenagers arrested for beating a white student at Jena High School.
