Jena 6 Overturned
According to TheNewsStar.com, Mychal Bell who was found guilty of aggravated second-degree battery earlier this summer has been overturned. His attorney has confirmed this to be factual. We are ecstatic, Bob Noel said.
The decision to overturn Bells motion doesnt mean that hell be automatically released. The case has now been moved into LaSalle Parish District Attorney Reed Walters court. Bell was one of the six teenagers arrested for beating a white student at Jena High School. This incident has brought international attention to the small community, but not as much wide-stream appeal nationally.
Yesterday, they held a press conference at 4:30 in the afternoon to address questions.
