A woman who was trampled during Lil' Wayne's performance a Morgan State University last October is suing the rapper for negligent behavior.
The woman, then 17-year-old Tyrique Layne, claims that she was trampled and knocked unconscious after Wayne or members of his entourage threw money into the crowd. According to the Daily Record, the suit states that Layne suffered a "serious closed head injury," and that she now suffers from memory loss, severe and frequent headaches and difficulty concentrating.
The suit names Lil' Wayne, Cash Money Records Inc., Universal Records Inc., and Young Money Touring Inc., and seeks $1 million in damages.
Lil' Wayne was opening for Busta Rhymes at the concert, during which two other women were injured.
