New York rapper Saigon was arrested in Manhattan on felony knife-possession charges on Wednesday, August 22nd.

According to the New York Post, a “gravity knife” was found by authorities is Saigon’s car after he was pulled over on 11th Avenue and West 29th street for a traffic infraction.

“This is another example of New York’s finest targeting a member of
the rap and entertainment industry,”
said Saigon’s attorney, according to AHH. “The car that Saigon was driving was not owned by
him. More importantly, the small pocket knife was found in a console in
the car, not on his possession.”
