Hip Hop Album Sales: Week Ending 7/22/07

T.I. is no longer King, while Rihanna gets a boost and Fabolous holds on. Tech N9ne debuts, while Chrisette Michele continues to drop.

T.I.'s T.I. vs. Tip relinquishes the #1 spot in its third week. What was it beat out by? Now 25 and the Hannah Montana 2 Soundtrack. The album sells 175k this week, bringing the southern rapper to 737k overall. Rihanna moves up two spots this week to #16, as Good Girl Gone Bad sells 37k (454k overall). Fabolous' From Nothin' to Somethin' only slips two spots this week, selling 27k (341k overall).

The Shop Boyz' Rockstar Mentality dropped to #48 this week, selling 13k and briging the group's total to 134k. Tech N9ne's Misery Loves Kompany debuted at 49, with 13k on the week. Chrisette Michele's I Am continues to drop, as it hits the #72 spot this week. The album moves 9k units, bringing the singer's total to 72k.

After falling off the charts last week, Young Buck's Buck the World is back on at #196, selling 3k in its 16th week. To date, Buck the World has sold 362k. Pastor Troy's Tool Muziq drops down to the very edge of the charts at #200 in its third week. Tool Muziq sells 3k this week, bringing the album's total sales to 17k.
