Rappers Ja Rule and Lil Wayne were both arrested last night in completely seperate incidents, both for weapons possession.
According to reports, Ja Rule and two associates were arrested on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York for speeding, at approximately 10:37 p.m. A .40 caliber pistol was found inside their vehicle.
Lil’ Wayne was arrested after his performance at the Beacon Theater after he and another individual were caught smoking weed. Wayne, too, was carrying a .40 caliber pistol.

Adding to the coincidences of the same charges with the same weapons on the same night, Ja Rule’s newest single, Uh Oh, features Lil’ Wayne. The single is set for Ja’s seventh studio album The Mirror, due in stores on September 25th.
