Kanye, Diddy, Others Perform at Princess Diana Tribute Concert
Sunday, July 1st would've been the 46th birthday of Princess Diana, had she not died in a tragic car accident on August 31st, 1997 (along with boyfriend Dodi Fayed and their limo driver).
In memory of their mother, princes William and Henry celebrated with a concert that 70,000 attended. Among the performers were acts such as Nelly Furtado, Kanye West, Joss Stone, Sean "Diddy" Combs, and others.
"This evening is about all that my mother loved in life: her music, her dance, her charities and her family and friends," said William, according to Billboard.
The evening was highlighted with such hits as Nelly Furtado's Maneater, and Diddy's Missing You. The concert also had other high profile acts such as Elton John and Rod Stewart.
According to William, the concert was a chance for people to "remember all the good things about her because she's not here to defend herself when she gets criticized."
