The million plus fans that bought Chamillionaire’s major label debut, The Sound of Revenge will have to wait a few more months for a taste of Victory.

Ultimate Victory, Cham’s sophomore effort from Universal has been pushed back again. The album, originally scheduled for release this month, will hit store shelves Sept. 18.

For fans who don’t want to wait the whole summer, Cham will release Mixtape Messiah 3 with an accompanying DVD. The disc and video will be available via Cham’s web site (www.chamillionaire.com) for free.

“I’ve been hard at work, putting the final touches on Ultimate Victory while my fans have remained patient and overwhelmingly supportive of me,” he says in a statement. “Now that the new album is finally complete and the first official single is ready for release, I’m back on my mixtape grind.”

The sophomore effort boasts a lot of star power from old to new school. Busta Rhymes, Pimp C, Krayzie Bone and Devin the Dude lend their talents, while David Banner, J.R. Totem and Three 6 Mafia man the boards on production.

Veteran emcee, Slick Rick, assists Cham on the album’s first single, the Play-N-Skillz produced “Hip Hop Police.”

Chamillionaire also makes a cameo on the remix to the Shop Boyz break out single, “Party Like a Rockstar.”
