Lady Sovereign Apologizes for Strange Behavior
Lady Sovereign has responded to her recent behavior after allegedly having a meltdown on stage in Brooklyn, during a performance where she played two songs before storming off stage.
Showing up two hours late for a set at Studio B in Brooklyn as a result of her tour bus breaking down, she complained about being broke amongst making other negative comments. The rapper then cut her set short and stormed off stage.
The British rapper said things like "I'm just about paying my rent, I'm gonna be homeless in two weeks," and
"F - - K America."
The self-proclaimed "rap midget apologized for her behavior in a recent apology released to the public.
"I know how stupid I must have looked on Friday," she said. "I was tired and not in the mood, having a bad day. But that's no excuse for letting fans down, I'm sorry to those that were at Studio B to see me."
She is expected to return to New York for a performance on July 7, at the opening night of the Spiegeltent festival.
