STL rapper Chingy is back with the label that made him hot. Chingy made it official on his song “Make That Money.” On the track Chingy confirms that he is back with DTP.
“Was gone for a minute, back with the crew /Who?/ DTP so if you on top, we came to move you.”Chingy signed to the label in 2003 and gained success with his song “Right Thurr”. The song was featured on his Jackpot album that went multi-platinum.
The rapper soon left the label in 2004 claiming that Luda along with Co-CEO Chaka Zulu had cheated him out of money. Chingy will also appear on DTP‘s compilation album Strength In Numbers along with former DTP artist Shawnna.
Look for Strength In Numbers to come out in early July.
