Singer Mya is ready to unleash a new album upon us. With three successful albums under her belt, she is ready for another one. This time, she has decided to call the album Liberation. Much like many albums nowadays, this has been pushed back and forth between many release dates. Well, it’s finally got a release date.

She has already released her first single, “Lock U Down,” which was produced by Scott Storch. She has recently finished up the latest video, which will feature a rapper. The video features a guest appearance by Weezy F. Baby.

But that isn’t the only move she’s made. She has also gone away from Los Angeles.

“I just knew I had to get back to my roots and rediscover what made me excited in the first place. I have all this creative energy and ideas but LA was too impersonal of a place to really develop a creative family,” she wrote on her website recently, about her move away from L.A.
