Following in the footsteps of other Southern rappers like Lil Flip and Juvenile, Def Jams resident d-boy, Young Jeezy is set to release a mix tape style album to retail outlets.

Jeezy and his Corporate Thugz Entertainment will release Young Jeezy Presents USDA: Cold Summer. The disc will feature work from the Snowman himself and up and coming rappers from his CTE label including Sanchez, Nazty and Midnight Black.

The lead single will be the "Drumma Boy" produced White Girl.

In a recent interview with MTV, Jeezy explained why he chose not to release a regular studio album to showcase his crew.

"It's crazy," he says. "I wanted to do it mix tape-style 'cause I wanted it to be something for the streets. It's like Trap or Die on steroids. I love that. It's a street album, just raw."

Jeezy also enlists the help of his fam on the current Street Dreams Tour. Slick Pulla and Blood Raw take the stage to showcase USDA during the Snowmans set. The pair will be performing several tracks from the Cold Summer album, including "White Girl".

CTEs tour exploits can also be seen on YouTube, courtesy of USDA TV.

Young Jeezy Presents USDA: Cold Summer will hit store shelves May 22.
