50 Cent Gets Down With Deniro

50 Cent is heading to New Orleans. Curtis Jackson has joined Robert Deniro in New Orleans, a new Drama/Thriller set for release in 2008.

New Orleansis currently in production.Reportedly, 50 plays Deniro's partner. The two cops are looking for clues as towho killed Deniro'sold partner, who allegedly died during Hurricane Katrina.

50 has already been attached to a variety of films including Get Rich or Die Tryin', Home of the Brave, and the upcomingThe Dance and The Ski Mask Way.

Common Sense is busy Finding Forever, but that hasn't stopped him from making moves in the film industry. The Chicago MC has recently appeared in Smokin' Aces and has at least one more movie to release this year with American Gangster.

American Gangster is currently in post-production. It is reportedlya film, set in the 1970's, which follows drug lord Frank Lucas,who smuggles drugs inside of coffins bringing fallen soldiershomefrom Vietnam. Based on Lucas' life, the film also details how helater becomes an informant.

The film stars Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, Cuba Gooding Jr. and fellow Hip-Hop representatives RZA and T.I.

The film is scheduled to hit theaters November 2, 2007.
