Columbia Pictures pulls Mistah

F.A.B's "Ghost Ride It" Video

After scrutiny from national news networks and getting past a potential banning by MTV, Mistah F.A.B still can’t escape the controversy that comes with his video Ghost Ride It.

Beginning this past December when the media linked F.A.B’s video to two deaths connected to the term “ghost riding.” Having already shot the video MTV considered banning it due to pressure from the media outlets across the nation. After a stunning 52 edits the video finally found its way onto MTV2’s Unleashed, MTV JamsJam of the Week, MTVU and finally resting at MTV’s Sucker Free Countdown.

Columbia Pictures (the studio who owns the rights to the Ghostbusters movie franchise) threatened to take legal action because the video displayed the Ghostbuster’s car and a manipulation of the logo. Columbia has demanded that the video be pulled from all media outlets including TV and the internet.

The unedited version (below) of the video has 600,000+ views on YouTube.
