Timbaland has gone from Missy and Magoo to Timberlake and Furtado, and he’s expanding his horizons every year. With that in mind, Pop/Rock powerhouse Coldplay may be looking for a Timbo beat, and Tim may just deliver.
”It would give me a new energy; it would take me to a whole other place…[Coldplay]
are so talented, it would help me as a person. Working with them would
be great. It’s about the music — not clothes or jewelry, just pure
passion for music,” Timbo told Entertainment Weekly.

Don’t think this is far fetched. As we noted, Tim has been working with more and more acts outside of rap, and Chris Martin (lead singer for Coldplay) has also been open to collaborations with acts
from other genres.

Martin sang on Jay-Z’sKingdome Come. Reports also indicate that Martin will appear in Kanye West’s highly anticipated Graduation LP.
