YouTube has become an internet
main stay for wild and crazy videos and old school classics. Now, the
company is getting ready to pay users for quality video.
The
company has not announced just how it will split revenue with users,
but some speculate that the split may be 50/50, according to a Business
Week article.

The proposal is not without problems. YouTube
will also need to ensure that uploaded videos do not violate current
copy right laws and keep a closer eye on sexually explicit material.
“I think this is somewhat of a me-too move for YouTube, and I don’t think they necessarily need to do it,” former Zuba CEO Thomas McInerney says.
