Def Jux fans can take a sigh f relief. El-Ps new album is done. Ill Sleep When Youre Dead is a project he has been blogging about for some time and it is highly anticipated by his fans. With some help from Mr. Dibbs and an appearance on MTVs Im From Rolling Stone, the buzz has grown and its sure to hit fans with what they have been waiting for. Recently, El-P spoke about it and let out a release date: March 20, 2007.

Sean Price also has a new album on its way. Its coming sooner rather than later. Expect Jesus Price Supastar to land in store shelves January 30th. As expected, the album features about half of the production handled by 9th Wonder and Khrysis. Guests include Phonte, Sadat X and Buckshot. It will be released via Duckdown Records and a tour with Jedi Mind Tricks will be done to back this LP.

The Quannum Records family is getting ready for a big 2007. Lateef is working on a solo album which may get released late in 07. He is also recording an LP with Blackalicious Gift of Gab. Their label mate Pigeon John is currently touring and will work on a new album soon. Lyrics Born is also working on a new album as we speak.

Enough of the future, though. Its time for the present. Quannum act Lifesavas is releasing Gutterfly on April 24th. That album will include guest spots from Smif-N-Wessun, deadprez and Camp-Lo among others. So, get ready.

Finally, Rhymesayers Entertainment acts have a lot in store as well. Brother Alis album (featuring production from the ever clever Ant) is set to be unleashed to the public on April 10th. The album, which includes tracks such as Truth Is, Faheem and Freedom Aint Free, is a follow up to 2004s The Champion EP and 2003s critically acclaimed Shadows on the Sun.

Fellow RSE MCs Mac Lethal and P.O.S. are currently on tour. They are scheduled to hit these venues through February 3, 2007.
