Snoop Dogg has started 2007 off with more legal troubles.

The West coast vet, who recently released Tha Blue Carpet Treatment is in hot water over a reality television show pilot and a movie script.

Natural Resources Media and Technology group, a New York based company has sued Snoops Snoop Youth Foundation Football league over a concept for a reality TV show surrounding Snoop and the youth football team he coaches. The show was to conclude with the playing of the championship game, the Snooperbowl

The deal was allegedly made in violation of another deal the rapper has with 20th Century Fox.

Under the pre-existing deal, Fox planned to release Coach Snoop, a motion picture about Snoop and his team and has exclusive rights to anything surrounding Snoop and the team.

This is where the situation gets sticky.

After hearing of the reality show deal, Fox sent a letter to all parties involved with the reality show, including TV ONE.

"Fox already has made a huge investment in our project and if you continue to move forward with your television project in violation of Fox's rights, it will severely impact the viability of our theatrical motion picture," Michael Ross, Fox's senior vp legal affairs, wrote in a letter dated Oct. 13.

Natural Resources has in turn filed suit against the Snoop Youth Foundation League because the deal for the show was made in violation to the original contract. They seek $250,000 in damages and attorney fees.

DX will keep you posted.
