The news comes from recent reports of ex-Loud Records founder, Steve
Rifkind, having signed them to a one record deal as he has once again
become enamored with the Wu for his SRC Record company Plans are for a late 2007 release with an accompanying tour.
In recent years, the group has seen Ol' Dirty Bastard pass, U-God leaving and returning to the group, RZA working in TV, movies and sometimes music, but Ghostface is having one of his strongest years yet. Fishscale stands atop many top 10 lists of 2006 and his latest album, More Fish was released a few weeks ago.
SRC already has a record out with everyones favorite guest, Akon and his latest, Konvicted. The label also has artists, Melissa Jimenez, Pharoahe Monch, Young Cash, Jae Millz, Topic, Grandaddy Souf, Keith Sweat, Ric-A-Che, Sean Biggs, Remy Ma, Akon, Majic Massey, David Banner and The Terror Squad.
