Damon Wayans Banned For Using

The N-Word

After Michael Richards dropped the N word a couple weeks ago at the Laugh Factory, management has banned the word from future comedians’ performances.

Apparently, Damon Wayans missed the memo.

During a performance Sunday night, Wayans dropped the bomb sixteen times during a twenty minute set. As a result, Wayans is banned from the venue for the next three months.

Citing the Richards incident, Wayans justified his use of what some call a “term of endearment.”

"I'll be damned if the white man uses that word last. …This is part of our culture now...don't take that from us," he said during the set.

In other “N word” related news, Def Jam president, Jay-Z sounded off as well, disagreeing with a formal ban on the word.

"I'm against that, I'm all for freedom of speech,” he states.  "You have to fix the people that have hatred inside their soul."
