Jim Jones flies high on the charts. Off of the strength of his super smash We Fly High (Baaaaalin) Jim Jones' Hustler's P.O.M.E. rode the wave into the #6 (#1 in Hip Hop) spot on the charts with an impressive first week sales figure (considering Jones is on indy label Koch) of 94k sold. Following with an solid second week at #7 is Birdman and Lil Waynes Like Father Like Son, which continues to move with another 72k sold (250k sold overall). John Legend continues to flex his muscle on the charts as Once Again sells yet another 62k units and sits pretty at #14 in its 3rd week (410k sold overall).

Elsewhere on the charts some of the bigger names continue to struggle. Diddys Press Play slips to #36 in its 4th week with 29k sold and struggles to gold (302k sold overall). Lloyd Banks cant seem to match his previous success as Rotten Album plummets to #71 in its 5th week with 15k sold and 250k sold overall. Jibbs and Pitbull are also both struggle to reach 100k in sales. Jibbs feat Jibbs is at #64 in its 3rd week selling 16k (88k sold overall) while Pitbull falls to #57 with El Mariel pushing just under 20k sold in its second week and 67k sold overall.

Next week well see how well The Game, Fat Joe and Akon do in what should be a pretty big week for Hip Hop.
