Fabolous Album Moved Up Because Of Shooting?

October 23rd, 2006 | Author: Andres Tardio

After being shot and arrested earlier this month, Fabolous is ready to unveil his newest material. Recently, Def Jam moved his album release up to December 26. Reports indicate that his first single should be hitting radio very soon.

This recent change in release dates comes in the wake of his shooting and arrest in New York. Just a couple of weeks ago, he told MTV that the album will see a release date in February of '07. But after his recent headlining news, the album was moved up a couple of months and now will be ready for fans before year's end.

While at Hip-Hop Honors, where he performed alongside Diddy and Q-Tip, the rapper spoke to MTV about the new album and promised some standout performances on his new album From Nothing to Something.

"That's the movement we going with, man. For everybody that's trying to turn nothing into something, we're trying to make motivational music for them. Every song is hot on the album. A standout record is a record me and Akon did called 'Change Up.' It's about getting your money, and certain people think you change but it's not always you. Your income changed, but you didn't change as a person," he said of the LP.
