Fabolous Shot, Young Jeezy Records 114 Songs

Brooklyn native, Fabolous, was shot early Tuesday morning during a stand-off in a Manhattan parking garage. Not only involved in an incident which left the rapper hospitalized in stable condition, Fab was was also arrested, Police said.

Shot once in the thigh, when a male with a gun approached  him and three others and opened fire. The four jumped into a vehicle and took off, running a red light which attracted police on duty.

Stopped and searched, the police discovered two unlicensed, loaded guns. All four men were arrested, and charges are pending.

Fabolous new album on Def Jam is due this December. Go figure.

Young Jeezy is set to drop his sophomore release, The Inspiration, December 12th. Despite being dropped close to label mate heavy weights Nas and Jay-Z, the Snowman has a strong cast of guests in his corner. Guest appearances from Ludacris, T.I., Keyshia Cole, Three 6 Mafia, Young Buck, Timbaland, and others.

Jeezy stated that he has recorded 114 songs for the album, and is deciding to go with the best 14. For those in fear that the 100 songs will go to waste, Jeezy says, “Maybe, maybe not. I did this in case something ever happens to me, so I’ve got a couple of albums left. You never know these days.”

Songs that have been rumored to appear on the album include 3 A.M., Child of God, Dreamin and I Luv It. The latter being debuted last week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
