There has been no shortage of fans and rappers alike outraged by the success of groups like D4L and Dem Franchise Boyz. Comedian Dave Chappelle recently visited Ohios Central State University to speak, during which he told the crowd that leaving his show was "one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. He further clarified that, economically it makes no sense at all, it's good to have a vision for your life, but your moral conduct and your moral code should be priceless. You should just have some values that you just hold, that you won't sell at any price.

Some people dont buy into Commons revolutionary and conscious image, claiming the Chi-town is nothing but a hypocrite who talks the talk but wasnt walk to walk (ie. endorsing Coca-Cola). Those people should be coming back out the woodworks in no time as its now been announced that Common will be appearing in an upcoming campaign for the Gap. That same Gap that has been long accused of using sweatshops to manufacture their clothing
