Stones Throw Celebrates Ten Years
Stones Throw Records the indie southern California
label which houses Madlib and his
alter egos in the form of Lord Quas and
Yesterday's New Quintet, J Dilla's
Donuts, and Madvillain recordings is celebrating its tenth-year anniversary
by hosting three concerts in the UK.
The three-day event, dubbed Stones Throw Live, will feature performances by producer Madlib, the underground legend Percee P (who will finally be promoting his album Percee-verance for real), and J. Rocc of the Beat Junkies assuming the DJ duties.
The California-based roster will be heading to Manchester (Oct. 4), London (Oct. 5), and Leeds (Oct. 8).
A few of the Stones Throw family, namely J. Rocc, Madlib and Peanut Butter Wolf will be there alongside Kanye's DJ A-Trak, stateside for a San Francisco show September 1st, for the Guitar Center Spin-Off Finals, for more information go to http://www.stonesthrow.com/upcoming/index.html.
