T.I. made headlines when he joined the cast for American
Gangster. Now, it seems he has company.
American Gangster is a drama based in the 1970's. The movie also features stars
like Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe.
Gangster has just added new actors to
the mix. Chiwetel Ejiofor and John Ortiz have joined the cast.
But to keep it in Hip-Hop, the film has also added two new emcee/actors to the
cast.
Common and The RZA have also
been added to the roster for the film. According to Billboard, RZA will
play Crowe's partner and Common will assist T.I. in the
drug game.
The movie is already receiving critical acclaim. Ridley Scott is
directing the film. No finalized date has been set for its release.
